  • How fast can my custom artwork be done?

    Our speed depends on your needs. We consider the supply, size, and nature of your request.

  • How many frames are there to choose from?

    At Creative Matting, Framing & Designs, we have six suppliers with over 350 frames. We’ll help you find one for your needs!

  • What can I frame?

    We can frame almost anything if it is special to you, we can make it protected for life. We can frame original art, canvas paintings, photos, diplomas, 3-D items including memorabilia items, and almost anything. Call us to book a time so we can connect with you to talk about your project.

  • What do you offer that we can’t get at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby?

    We offer custom framing with a personal touch so that you look at your work years down the road and feel that there was love put into your piece.

  • If we have an idea for an original piece of creative design, how do we go about getting this done?

    We ask that you give us an idea of what you want, the size, and what type of material you want it made out of. Chances are we can create whatever it is you desire.

  • Are you able to frame anything?

    Yes! Almost anything can be framed. We’ve done everything from original art to canvas painting to 3D collectibles like watches, hats, and sports memorabilia—we love a challenge! Call us or book an appointment to talk to our framing expert about your project.

  • What framing materials do you have?

    We carry frames in a variety of materials: metal, wood, hand-finished, carved, and gilded. We do floater frames—frames without glass—shadow boxes, matting, mounting, and even hand-carved mats with custom designs.

  • How long does custom framing take?

    We can sometimes do your project in a quick turnaround, it will depend on the frame you chose because some take a long time to receive from the vendor. When we visit with you, we can give you an idea of how long it will take.

  • Do you sell other people’s artwork?

    Yes, we have several artists that we represent, from original artwork to limited edition prints and regular prints. 

  • What payment types do you accept?

    We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and PayPal.

  • What are your hours?

    We try and accommodate our customers. We will meet before 9 and after 5, we will meet people on weekends. Call us to arrange what works best for you.

  • How should I hang my framed picture?

    Here are a few guidelines:


    As a general rule, art should be hung at eye level. The bottom of your frame should hang 8” to 10” above your furniture. When hanging multiple pieces on the same wall, space them 2” to 5” apart. If you’re hanging your art above your sofa, the piece shouldn’t be longer than the sofa.
